FIRE PROOF YOUR PARACHUTE
Spartan 5M Fire Retardant is flame proofing for synthetic fibers including nylon, polyester, rayon & cotton. Self extinguishing with no after glow. Easy to use, 6 LB carton granular form, just mix with water, apply by spray, brush or dip. Mix only the quantity you need, one 6 LB carton covers 500 sq ft (a 28 foot parachute is @ 500 sq ft). Direction for mixing: 1) Mix 1-1/2 lbs (3 cups) fire retardant into 1 gallon of water, stir until dissolved. 2) Using an inexpensive spray bottle (empty Windex spray bottle) apply until fabric is quite damp, but do not wet enough to drip. 3) Dry at room temperature up to 200 degrees F.
